Who
we are

Our passion for reclaimed urban lumber began with a simple idea: the massive logs removed from city streets and yards shouldn’t end up in a landfill. Urban trees are removed for many reasons—safety, disease, development—but most of them carry memories and meaning for the people who lived alongside them. Now those stories can continue.

By sawmilling, properly drying, and sterilizing lumber from these special trees, we preserve their character and make them safe for long-term use. Each slab, knot, and grain tells a history: the seasons it stood through, the hands that pruned it, the moments it shaded. That history becomes material for something new—tables, countertops, mantels—pieces that hold both craftsmanship and narrative.

A Hildebrandt piece made from reclaimed urban wood is more than furniture. It’s a way to honor a tree’s life and keep its story alive in your home. Built to be durable and beautiful, these pieces invite gatherings, conversations, and new memories. Old trees, new stories—Hildebrandt made.
